Eclipta prostrata (Also known as Eclipta alba) has traditionally been utilized in Ayurveda to treat conditions affecting the liver, eyes, and hair. It has been studied for it’s antioxidant, nontoxic, and anticancer potential of Eclipta prostrata’s alcoholic extract because of its potentially beneficial medical properties and concluded that Eclipta prostrata holds great promise for the treatment of cancer in complementary and alternative medicine as well.
